Mark van Doorn lives and works in Arnhem. Self-taught, he draws his inspiration from nature and transfers this onto canvas. His abstract works are characterised by rhythm and structure. The colour white at first seems to dominate his work, but this is a mere illusion. He uses white because it contains all the colours of the spectrum.
